Track Of The Day: Carrie Baxter - 'Love Me Better (Stripped Back)'

Fresh from her performance of 'Out In The Cold Again' for Rave On, Van Morrison, Waterford artist Carrie Baxter has returned with a stunning new version of 'Love Me Better' – set to appear on her upcoming Stripped Back EP.

The new track follows the release of her soul and jazz-infused debut EP, Placebo, earlier this year. Generating a major buzz in the UK, the success of the original version of 'Love Me Better' landed her on the cover of Spotify's The New Éire playlist – as well as comparisons to the legendary likes of Amy Winehouse and Erykah Badu.

With support from major outlets and tastemakers on both sides of the Irish Sea, Carrie has rapidly forged a reputation as one of the country's most thrilling emerging acts.
