Third Eye Surgery
Great Danes embark on a new space odyssey
Third Eye Surgery is Baby Woodrose’s sixth studio album to date. It features a vocal delivery that’s eerily reminiscent of super-freak/all-round stoner, rock demi-god Dave Wyndorf from Monster Magnet and a suitably spacey wall of sound to back it all up. A sprawling, psychedelic tinged nine-track offering, songs such as ‘Bullshit Detector’ and the punkish title-track ooze attitude from every pore, but it’s the duet with flame-haired nymphet Emma Acs on ‘Dandelion’ that really steals the show. Loaded as it is with fuzzy anthems, fans of Nebula and Hawkwind should check this out pronto.
