They Might Be Giants announce two Irish dates
Over three decades in the business, they now play Dublin and Belfast.
Those most oddball of American popsters – that’s a compliment by the way – They Might Be Giants make a long overdue to Ireland for shows in the Limelight, Belfast (November 17) and Vicar St., Dublin (18).
The duo will be plugging Nanobots, their 24th album in a career dating back to 1982. While most of it has been conducted under the mainstream radar, they scored a top 10 hit in 1990 with ‘Birdhouse In Your Soul’ – a tune that still gets legs shaking in HP Towers.
