The White Stripes: DVD and Irish film screenings

Hot on the heels of their Marlay Park headliner, Jack and Meg send a print of their White Stripes Under Blackpool Lights concert film over for screenings in the Irish Film Institute, Dublin (November 13 to 14) and the Kino, Cork (17).

Recorded during the duo's January 2004 visit to the Costa del Lancashire, it features 26-songs including covers of Leadbelly's 'Boll Weevil' and Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' which is also being made available as a single on November 15.

As for the film, a DVD version hits the shops a week later in time for Christmas stocking filler duties.
