Freya Ridings announces Irish shows
Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 17.
London singer-songwriter Freya Ridings has announced an array of Irish shows, set to take place in Belfast's Ulster Hall on September 6, Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on September 7, Cork's Opera House on September 8, and Kilkenny's St Canice's Cathedral on September 10.
The news follows the announcement of her upcoming album Mother Of Pearl, out May 29.
Since breaking through with her single 'Lost Without You’' back in 2017, Ridings has released two studio albums - 2019's self-titled debut and 2023's Blood Orange.
Both records landed in the Top 10 of the UK Album Charts, earning her a BRIT nomination for Best Female Solo Artist.
"My first album had a colour palette of red and black, for fire and pain," said Ridings.
"The second album was orange and green - earthy and organic. But this new music evokes water, the big blue sea, with all the depth and ancient power of an ocean: it's grief and it's ancestry, the known and the unknown."
Ridings last went on tour across Ireland in 2023, where she visited Belfast, Cork, Dublin, and Limerick. That same year, she also featured on the cover of the April issue of Hot Press.
Elsewhere, last month, she performed on The Late Late Show, where she sang 'I Have Always Loved You' from the upcoming Mother Of Pearl.
