The Thrills confirmed for Lollapalooza
The Thrills will be joining the likes of Morrissey, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth and many, many more for the Lollapalooza festivities
We said it was on the cards before Christmas and, sure enough, The Thrills have just been co-opted on to this year's Lollapalooza touring festival bill.
The Perry Farrell-assembled line-up already includes Morrissey, String Cheese Incident, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Polyphonic Spree, Sonic Youth, Gomez and Le Tigre.
"We had an offer to join the No Doubt/Blink 182 thing in big arenas that fit many people," reveals lead singer Conor Deasy, "but I still have visions of the frat boy teenager kind of guys throwing beer bottles at us."
In between playing their own club shows, the band have been in LA working on the follow-up to So Much For The City which has sold a highly respectable 82,000 copies Stateside.
