The Sussed Hit No1 Spot in Charts
Irish punk provocateurs The Sussed are number one for "all genres in Ireland" in the N1M music charts with their song 'Don't Swim On The East Coast'.
The N1M (www.numberonemusic.com) is an independent music charts. The Sussed's success is a pretty amazing achievement for a track originally released all the way back in 1981.
You can check out the originally music video for it here:
The band's frontman Rory Stokes says he's thrilled with reaching the top spot, which is all the more special considering that "not a penny was spent" on promoting the song in an effort to nab a high chart position.
The Sussed have reissued their 1981 EP Don't Swim On The East Coast and it's already been a roving success.
The totally remastered EP has two bonus tracks 'Drowning In Bed' & 'I’ve Got Rabies' as well as original classics 'Don’t Swim On The East Coast' & 'I Wanna Conform'.
You can listen and buy the music here: reverbnation.com
The EP’s 4 Songs are also available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer etc
