The Specials announce rescheduled date for Trinity Summer Series
The highly-anticipated show was postponed due to COVID-19.
The Specials have confirmed a rescheduled date for their sold out Trinity College Dublin summer show - originally set for July 4th, 2020.
All original tickets are valid for the new date, which will take place on July 5, 2021.
The Irish Government announced that lockdown restrictions were extended until August 31 of this year for mass gatherings, which led to cancellations of all concerts and summer music festivals.
The Specials returned with ten new songs for their 2019 album, Encore.
Infusing ska with punk and amalgamating homegrown political anxiety with wider issues - the band are as relevant as ever given the current turbulent societal climate.
"Love is so much more powerful than hate. Hate is destruction and love is production," said lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the British band, Lynval Golding.
