Irish 'Celtic Soul' band The Script are to play an acoustic set and sign copies of their new album in HMV's Grafton St store on August 8.

The band combine elements of hip hop, r'n'b and rock, and album The Script takes up where singles 'We Cry' and 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' left off.

The instore kicks off at 1pm – also on offer is a chance to win a pair of tickets to the album launch party.
