The Rolling Stones reveal tracklist for new album in foreign tongues
The rock and roll group's 25th studio album is set for release on July 10.
The Rolling Stones have revealed the tracklist to their upcoming album Foreign Tongues in a range of different languages.
The English rock band will release their 25th studio album on July 10, featuring guest appearances from Robert Smith, Steve Winwood and the band’s late drummer Charlie Watts.
‘Kembali ke dalam hidupmu‘ (‘Back In Your Life’) is a track written by Ronnie Wood in tribute to Brian Wilson, composed in the days after the Beach Boys member death last year.
The album was recorded in less than a month at Metropolis Studios in London. Production came from Andre Watts who also worked on their 2023 album Hackney Diamonds.
"I love doing these recording sessions in London at Metropolis,” said Jagger. “It was a very intense few weeks recording ‘Foreign Tongues’. We had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could. I like the room there as it’s not too big so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone.”
The band are unlikely to tour this album as plans for a 2026 UK and European tour were scrapped last year. Guitarist Keith Richards didn’t deem himself fit to commit to a rigorous tour schedule. They last played in Ireland in 2007 when they headlined a concert at Slane Castle in County Meath.
Foreign Tongues’ tracklist:
