The Riptide Movement for Court Yard headliner in Leixlip
They'll be joined by the likes of Delorentos, Raglans and The Minutes at the festival.
The Leixlip Festival brings an array of entertainment to the Kildare town over the course of the June Bank Holiday weekend and, as ever, the Court Yard Hotel on Main Street will be at the centre of the action.
This year they have a truly terrific bill of homegrown acts ready to play as they celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Friday May 29 sees Choice Music Prize winners Delorentos headlining. Helping them get the weekend's festivities off to a flier will be Raglans.
The Minutes will lend a little punk rock to proceedings on Saturday, with that day's headliners being The Riptide Movement.
Sunday night finds rock cover band The Harleys supporting headliners The Stunning.
For a taste of U2, Zooropa open the festival on Thursday evening, while Bank Holiday Monday is all about The Breakers and Smash Hits, the unique tribute band to the golden era of '90s dance, pop and R&B.
An inflatable pub will also pop up alongside the Court Yard this year, to keep music lovers refreshed, and a chill-out zone will help recharge the batteries in between favourite bands.
Tickets are available in advance on [link]www.courtyard.ie/leixlip-festival[/link]. On-the-day cover charges, subject to space, are just €10 on Friday and on Sunday night, €15 for Saturday and €5 on Monday night.
This year’s Leixlip Festival Food Court will be an eclectic street food offering, with exotic Asian influences, as well as more traditional food-to-go, including an American diner, Italian pizzeria, and ice cream vendors.
