The Psychs are headlining Whelan's Upstairs after their upcoming EP The Devil's Favourite Son drops
Already out now is the first track off of The Psych's new EP, The Devil's Favourite Son ahead of their live performance with Vendetta Love at Whelan's Upstairs.
The Irish rock band the Psychs sold out the Soundhouse at their first show after COVID. Now, they're set to headline Whelan's on April 14th with special guests Vendetta Love.
The Whelan's show is in celebration of the band's brand new EP, The Devil's Favourite Son, which drops in just a couple days on April 7th. Already released is their brand new single 'Rock Bottoms Up (Drinking On The Bus),' a riveting, rocking single.
It's an impressive edition to their budding rock and roll catalogue, featuring six other songs from their debut in 2020 online with the single 'Son of the Dragon.'
"Hell-bent on bringing rock and roll back to the Irish scene, if rock is dead, then they’re undead - and their bite is infectious… Learn the name."
A four-piece band, the Psychs are made up of Billy Kid Jones on vocals, Ben on guitar, Clampo on bass, and Aaron on drums. They take inspiration from Queens of the Stone Age, AC/DC, Royal Blood, and The Dead Weather and Motley Cruë, designing a new take on the classic rock and roll sound.
It will also be the Psych's second headline show with Fluttertone. Make no mistake, though it's going to be bigger and better than the last.
