The Psychedelic Furs announce headline show at The Academy
Tickets go on sale Monday, February 10 at 10am.
The Psychedelic Furs have just announced a headline show at The Academy, Dublin for Friday, June 20, 2025.
The English rock band, led by vocalist and songwriter Richard Butler along with his bass-playing brother Tim, was formed in London in February 1977. With over four decades in the music industry, they have released eight studio albums.
Their latest release Made Of Rain has charted in a multitude of countries and became the Furs’ second highest ranked UK Album.
The Psychedelic Furs complete touring lineup remains Richard Butler (vocals); Tim Butler (bass); Rich Good (guitar); Amanda Kramer (keyboards) and Zachary Alford (drums), plus special guests.
They have written several hits such as 'Love My Way', 'Pretty In Pink', 'Heaven', 'The Ghost In You', and 'Heartbreak Beat'.
The Furs especially thrive live in concert having headlined at the U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival, and more recently at the Hollywood Bowl, London’s Royal Albert Hall, and New York’s Radio City Music Hall among others.
Tickets from €46.25, including booking fee, go on sale Monday, February 10 at 10am.
Doors open at 7pm and the venue is strictly 18+.
