The Pale to play intimate Irish gigs in Feburary ahead of UK tour
They will play two gigs in Celbridge and one in Dublin.
The Pale will play three intimate warm up shows in preparation for their upcoming UK shows at the end of February.
The Dublin band will play two shows in Tea Lane Church in Celbridge on Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22, followed up an early 1pm gig at Dublin's Royal Oak Pub on Sunday, February 23.
They will then trek over to Manchester and London for their first UK show in a while.
2020 marks The Pale's 30th year in the music industry, and they will be undertaking a 30th anniversary Irish tour to commemorate the event before the summer, with some other exciting news to follow later this year.
Frontman Matthew Devereux said: “The Pale are delighted to be touring in the United Kingdom again, it really has been way too long. We have made a new album that we are very proud of and this gives us the perfect excuse to try and get it heard by as many new ears as possible. We learned everything we needed to know about live performance touring the UK in the early 90's and we cannot wait to get back into the fray."
The Pale started in Dublin's Northside in the early 90's, busking on Grafton Street. They have since released 13 studio albums, with their most recent Merciful Hour released last year, and travelled the world through numerous tours.
Tickets are on sale now, and the February 22 gig has already sold out.
