The Minutes cancel Whelan's return
The trio have been forced to pull out of Friday's show due to illness.
Having delivered a typically incendiary free-for-fans live set in May, The Minutes were gearing up for another Whelan's date this Friday, June 20. Sadly, it will no longer go ahead.
The Dublin band have posted this message online:
"It is with a heavy heart we have to cancel this coming Fridays show in Whelans (June 20th)
Mark is sick. The doc says rest. Knowing he wouldn't be even 50% of himself on Friday night would mean all you people who've spent your hard earned money on the tickets would be getting half of what you paid for. We couldn't abide that . We're working on a new date. All original tickets of course will be valid. Keep your eyes peeled for new info.
Apologies.
Love
The Minutes"
We, of course, wish Mark a speedy recovery and a swift return to the stage. Tickets will be valid for the new date once announced, refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
