Morr’s astounding run of form continues with this gem from Iceland, possibly their finest find of the year. And that’s saying something. In the wrong hands, Sindri Mar Sigfusson’s sun-dappled, delicate indie-pop could sound twee, but – nestled perfectly among the violins, pianos, slide guitars and lazy drums – his lazy, half-whispered vocals are the real reason for this record’s success: it’s impossible not to be moved by his gentle, heartfelt delivery and, most importantly, his emotive lyrics. Beautiful.
