These gigs will be the first time The Cure have played in Ireland since their set at Malahide Castle in 2019.
Goth rock legends The Cure will play shows in Dublin and Belfast as part of their upcoming European Tour.
Next year, the group behind monumental tracks such as 'Boys Don't Cry', 'Just Like Heaven' and 'Close To Me' will play the 3Arena in Dublin on December 1 2022, before hitting up the SSE Arena in Belfast the following night.
In the press release announcing the tour, it's also stated that they've recorded a new album with full details yet to be revealed.
Robert Smith and company will be supported by special guests The Twilight Sad as their opener for the entire tour.
These gigs will be the first time The Cure have played in Ireland since their set at Malahide Castle in 2019 when they also played with The Twilight Sad.
Hot Press' Stephen Porzio was there to capture the magic of the show, writing, "Out front, Robert Smith gave it his all, displaying a confident snarl during the louder goth rock and a big goofy grin belting out his iconic choruses.
With fans young and old dressed in black wigs and red lipstick for the occasion, it was clear that they were ready to fall in love with The Cure all over again. And they did: truly, madly, deeply."
