The Beautiful South for Dublin

The Beautiful South scotch rumours of their demise with the release next month of Golddiggas, an 11-track covers album which includes Hullified versions of Blue Oyster Cult's 'Don't Fear The Reaper', The Ramones' 'Blitzkrieg Bop' and – most perversely – John and Olivia's 'You're The One That I Want'.

You can also catch Paul Heaton & Co. on December 14 when they play the Dublin Olympia. Failing that, Belfast tribute act The Beautiful Southmartins (we like it!) are in the Empire Music Hall on November 27.
