The Animators at The Village tonight
The Irish collective will perform in the King Kong Club competition.
If you've got a case of the Mondays, head over to The Village tonight to catch The Animators, the hip hop/R&B/funk/soul group that rolls seven deep. Barely eight months old, the group made up of four MCs, two singers, and one producer has already impressed enough fans to finish fourth out of more than 700 in an online contest to perform at this year's MTV EMAs.
The show starts at 8pm with free entry and €3 drinks. You can also catch the band and other local standouts at Balleyfermot's Got Talent, a gig behind held at Lafayette Cafe Bar on Westmoreland Street, Dublin on Wednesday. Tickets are only €5 if you buy ahead of time at the Ballyfermot College of Further Education student union or €10 at the door.
