Ten Speed Racer reunite for Whelan's show

It's been almost a decade since Dermot, John and Pat Barrett, Terry Cullen and Joe Chester last performed together. So the unexpected news of a Ten Speed Racer one-off reunion show this Friday, May 3 at Whelan's will have fans of the band flocking to the Wexford Street venue.

The band released two albums in the early 2000s – Eskimo Beach Boy and 10SR. Expect to hear live favourites from those LPs such as 'Don’t Go Out', 'Your Demon Heart', 'Ballad of Greedy Man', 'Knife', 'Listen To Bits', 'Sidewalk Monkey' and ‘It Ain’t Gonna Last’.
