Tanglewood Music Festival kicks off Friday
The festival brings more than 50 acts over this weekend.
This weekend kicks off the Tanglewood Music and Arts Festival in Newry, County Down, a festival that seeks to bring an eclectic mix of musical styles that is sure to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.
This year headliners include the English britpop stalwarts Simon Fowler & Oscar Harrison of Ocean Colour Scene, Dubliners Booka Brass Band whose unique performance utilizing trumpets, tubas and saxaphone for a unique live experience and a DJ set by Belfast punk icon Terri Hooley. Also performing are The Barley Mob, The Bonnevilles , Ports (Little Bear) and plenty more. Along with the live shows attendees will also find a food and crafts area with a bar stocked with an international selection of craft beers.
The two-day festival runs July 4-5, with tickets going for £45 for weekend passes, with Friday and Saturday tickets priced at £16 and £32 respectively.
