Police in Sweden are currently searching for seven males accused of five rapes and over forty groping incidents
Swedish police are currently investigating reports of over forty sexual assaults at two separate Swedish music festivals over the weekend.
Police have had reports of 27 cases of sexual assaults after the Putte i Parken festival in Karlstad, Sweden, west of Stockholm, in addition to 5 reports of rape and 12 accusations of molestations, at one of the country's biggest music festivals, Bravalla, in Norrköping, Sweden, south of Stockholm.
AP reports that the women and teenage victims - the youngest aged only 12-years-old - were subjected to groping and “other sexual misconduct”.
“The descriptions [of perpetrators] are diverse, with the one common denominator being that these are all young men,” police said in a statement.

One of the performers at Putte i Parken festival, country-pop singer Pernilla Andersson wrote in the Expressen newspaper, “For an artist to go up on stage thinking that there might be a girl out there being molested or raped during the concert is just totally crazy.”
One of the victims, Alexandra Larsson, 17, told MailOnline that the men were approximately 18-years-old and that “They were probably immigrants. I hate to say it. But it is the truth,” she said.
Investigations in to the sexual assaults are ongoing.
