Summer of Music: SOFFT Nights
With the combination of the Live Performance Support Scheme and the success of the Government's test gigs at the Iveagh Gardens and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, we are on the verge of a huge explosion of music activity. As part of our Summer of Music 2021 special feature, we're taking a look at some of the most eagerly anticipated events of the summer...
SoFFt Nights
Where: Dunderry Park, Co. Meath
When: July 16, 17; August 27, 28; September 3, 4
Who: Pillow Queens, Soda Blonde, ROE, Lemoncello, Maija Sofia, Cormac Begley, Dani Larkin, Bunoscionn, Art of Algebra
What: Situated close to the ancient sacred sites of Tara, Newgrange and Loughcrew, the 200-year-old restored Georgian residence, Dunderry Park, is surrounded by 25 acres of wooded parkland and a lake. Just a ten minute walk from the village of Dunderry, and halfway between Navan and Trim it the perfect grounds for a day festival. Enter SoFFt Nights. With activities like falconry, archery, shamanic drumming, reggae yoga and an animal sanctuary taking place on the grounds, this no-booze event, with no age limits, is set to be a wholesome, healing experience.
