The Pogues announce extra London date due to demand
Tickets for the extra date go on sale from Wednesday, April 1, at 10am
The Pogues have announced they will play a second show in London due to demand.
They will now play London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on December 15 as well as the previously announced O2 Academy Brixton on December 5.
The Greatest Hits tour is set to include three Irish dates, including the 3Arena, Dublin, on December 9; The SSE Arena, Belfast, on December 10; and Gleneagle Arena, Killarney, on December 12.
It will also include dates across Germany, the Netherlands and the UK across November and December and feature original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy.
They will perform iconic tracks from The Pogues’ song book, including ‘Fairytale of New York’, ‘Dirty Old Town’, ‘A Pair of Brown Eyes’, ‘Rainy Night in Soho’, ‘If I Should Fall From Grace With God’, and many more.
Commenting on the upcoming tour, The Pogues said, "After the incredible reaction to our recent anniversary shows, we wanted to take the celebration even further — we hope you’ll come along; it will most definitely be worth it.”
The anniversary tour ran through the UK and North America last year, marking the band’s first tour on the continent in 13 years, and was met with widespread success.
Tickets for The Pogues' new London date will be on sale from Wednesday, April 1, at 10am here.
