Sult: A two-day, community-based music festival in the heart of Gweedore
From rural events of the boutique kind to big city blowouts, we’ve got you covered in our 2023 Summer Festival Special. Step this way for the wheres, whens, whos and whys...
Sult
Where: Gweedore, Co. Donegal
When: July 7 & 8
Who: Dean Lewis, LYRA, Ash, Jenny Greene, Chasing Abbey, HamsandwicH, Reevah, Humble Earthworm, Larabelle, DJ Paddy Friel, DJ Kevin McDaid
What: A two-day independent music festival in the heart of Gweedore – with camping available nearby – Sult is a community-based affair that attracts plenty of big-name headliners, including Hot Press faves Ash who are at the peak of their live powers. All profits from the festival go back into the community and to local charities – raising over €20,000 in recent years. A new addition this year is the Fun Fair, which adds even more to Sult’s family-friendly credentials.
Make sure to: Allow time to explore Gweedore, an Irish-speaking district with more than its fair share of stunning beaches, majestic mountains and other natural attractions which never fail to take the breath away!
