Street Artists Unite For Street Children launches tonight
A €10 donation will get you a night of live music, talks, comedy, free drinks and live street art. RTÉ’s Kevin McGahern, Cfit and DOG are in action this evening.
The SCOOP Foundation will be launching their latest initiative, Street Artists Unite For Street Children, an effort to use the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to raise $60,000 in order to begin the construction of an Educational and Care Centre for Street Children living in Varanasi, India.
In an effort to raise the money, SCOOP has collected works from celebrated artists such as such as ADW, DMC, Danleo, FOX and Solus from Ireland, Nils Westergard, Mint ‘n’ Serf, and Royce from the US, and the legendary Senor X from Spain, along with pieces done by the children of Varanasi, to give as gifts to those donating.
Tonight's event takes place at BLOCK T in Smithfield Square starting at 7pm. There will be performances from RTÉ’s Kevin McGahern, Cfit and DOG, along with street art on display.
