Paul Nolan and Wayne Byrne don their oversized suits and break down Talking Heads’ 1984 classic Stop Making Sense, as well as considering the remarkable legacy of both the band and late filmmaker Jonathan Demme. Plus Paul recalls his 2018 interview with David Byrne.
Hot Press Classics is back for a new episode focusing on Jonathan Demme and Talking Heads' 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense and its subsequent live album.

In their discussion, Paul is joined by Wayne Byrne to chat about the brilliance of Jonathan Demme's work on Stop Making Sense, the film's cinematography and photography, as well its groundbreaking status as a concert film.
They also explore the visionary artistic flair of Talking Heads', David Byrne's theatrical and iconic use of choreography, and the brilliance of their live sound and performance.
Elsewhere, the duo examines the Demme's stunning work with music all throughout his filmography, particularly on Silence Of The Lamb, and the lasting legacy surrounding David Byrne and Talking Heads.
