Stereophonics to play Trinity Summer Series
The Welsh rock band have been announced as the latest act to headline this year’s summer concerts
Stereophonics' join a host of big name acts set to perform at the Summer Series at Trinity College. They join previously announced performers FOALS (July 2), Janelle Monáe (July 3), Paul Weller (July 4), and New Order (July 7).
In the past, the Welsh outfit have played at some of the most high profile festivals across the UK and Ireland; Reading and Leeds in 2000, Glastonbury 2002, V Festival in 2002, The Isle of Wight in 2004 & 2009, and Oxegen in 2010.
After announcing a string of huge outdoor gigs this summer, rumours have been swirling the band could return to Glastonbury. The band released their tenth studio album Scream Above The Sounds in 2017 with lead single 'All In One Night'. The LP came twenty years after their debut Word Gets Around.
They will play Trinity College Saturday July 6. Tickets cost €52.00 including booking fee and go on sale this Friday February 2 at 9am.
