Stars Pay Tribute To The Late Anton Yelchin

Actor Anton Yelchin passed away on Sunday, June 19, aged 27. He was best known for his roles in Alpha Dog, Star Trek, and most recently, Green Room.

Yelchin was heading to rehearsals on Sunday morning when his car rolled backwards on a steep driveway, pinning him against a wall.

"When he didn't show up, his friends went to his house, where they found him deceased by his car," said a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Jenny Hauser. "It appeared he had momentarily exited his car, leaving it in the driveway."

A host of people from the entertainment world have posted tributes to the young actor including Anna Kendrick, Olivia Wilde, Elijah Wood, William Shatner, Matt Lucas, Stephen King and Aaron Paul.
