Riding high on the success of their recent US tour, The Thrills are poised to release their second album, Let's Bottle Bohemia
The Thrills have confirmed that their second album will be called Let's Bottle Bohemia.
Demographically minded chaps that they are, the band have chosen two lead singles, with 'Whatever Happened To Corey Haim?' announcing its arrival in the UK and American appetites being whetted by 'Not For All The Love in The World'.
As revealed last month on hotpress.com, the collection features input from REM's Peter Buck and Beach Boys strings man Van Dyke Parks.
"They could quite easily have toured So Much For The City in the States up until Christmas, but decided, 'No, let's get a new record out there'," says a source close to the band. "While they're obviously going to be doing a lot of stuff here and in Europe, the priority with this album is America."

The Thrills' US star certainly seems to be in the ascendant, with their recent stop-off at Boston's Paradise Rock Club typical of the sell-out shows they've been playing there.
Reports HP's man on the spot, Shawn Lynch: "Taking to the stage at 11pm, Conor & Co. went straight into a new song, 'Found My Rosebud', which had the 500-plus crowd squealing with delight. Three other newies – 'The Irish Keep Gatecrashing', 'Our Wasted Lives' and 'Not For All The Love In The World' – went down just as well with the predominantly college kid audience. The biggest cheers of the night, though, were reserved for 'One Horse Town' and the concluding 'Don't Steal Our Sun' which sent everybody out into the cold, wet Boston night with a warm glow."
Those giving the show the thumbs-up included Sandra White from Concord, NH ("I got the CD and played it over and over. I got all my friends into them"); Amy Behrens from Southboro, MA ("I saw their video on the MTV college channel"); and Akiko Kawakami from Tokyo, Japan ("I've seen them twice so far and want to see them more").
