Somebody's Child releases 'Hold Me Like You Wanna' music video
The video features fan footage and phone recordings from the band from the past 16 month of live performances.
Somebody's Child has released the music video for his latest single 'Hold Me Like You Wanna'. Created during quarantine, the video features a mix of fan footage and the band's own recordings from live gigs over the last 16 months. Heartfelt and intimate, the stitched-together video offers a beautiful sense of nostalgia and a peek into the band's lives. It's a tribute to the beauty of music, live performances and its ability to bring people together.
In less than two years, the young Dublin songwriter and band-leader has worked to cement himself as a burgeoning voice in the Irish music scene. Backed by a band of equal musical diversity, he tackles personal and political issues in his music, not shying away from discussions of mental health, egotism, and dystopia.
'Hold Me Like You Wanna' will be featured on upcoming EP '20-Something', due for release on August 7. Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the group’s chemistry and sound is developing at alarming rates, and the new EP is a testament to that evolution.
