Soda Blonde announce orchestral album Dream Big live with the National Symphony Orchestra
The band will also tour Ireland in December
Soda Blonde will release Dream Big Live, On December 12.
The album was recorded alongside the National Concert Orchestra during their sold-out performance at the National Concert Hall on July 19, 2024, with over 70 musicians on stage.
The night was also captured for the concert film Straight Into The Arms Of Something, which accompanies the album.
The performance saw Soda Blonde’s second album Dream Big reimagined through orchestral arrangements by Gavin Murphy, conducted by David Brophy.
This year the band have already released two acclaimed singles, ‘People Pleaser’ and ‘The Queen of Mercy’, toured across the UK and Europe, and saw their People Pleaser EP reach #2 in the Irish Independent Album Charts.
Dream Big Live with the National Symphony Orchestra will be released as a deluxe double gatefold vinyl with a 12-page booklet featuring stills from the film, as well as a digital album and streaming concert film.
To coincide with the release, Soda Blonde will tour Ireland in December, including a special press screening of the film on 11 December at the Lighthouse Cinema, Dublin.
