Tickets for Snow Patrol's first UK date of 2006 sold out within half an hour, and resulted in chaos for those who missed out.
The band announced on BBC Radio 1 that they're booked to play Koko in Camden on 12 April 06, with tickets only being available from their website.
Fans could only get their hands on tickets by retrieving a special password from their messageboard and then buying them online, but the board recieved such a "phenomenal demand" that after the show sold out, the forum was temporarily closed.
"Sorry for those that didn't manage to get tickets but we will be announcing more shows in the forthcoming weeks," reads a message from the band.
Gary Lightbody and co are currently putting the finishing touches to the hotly anticipated follow up to The Final Straw. Eyes Open will be released in April, and as previously reported on hotpress.com, features tracks such as It's Beginning To Get To Me', Make This Go On Forever', 'You're All I Have', 'Open Your Eyes', 'The Only Noise', 'Warmer Climate', 'You Could Be Happy' and 'Chasing Cars' ("the best song we’ve ever written").
They'll also be playing the Dublin Castle on April 29 as part of the Heineken Green Energy Festival.
