Snow Patrol reveal onstage guests for upcoming tour

With their UK and Irish tour imminent, Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody has revealed: "We've been getting an extended set-list together – 21 songs as it stands right now including 'Starfighter Pilot'. May need an iron lung! Also, because Martha (Wainwright) is in the studio working on her new record we've had to enlist the services of two other wonderful singers who'll sing 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar' for half the tour each – Lisa Hannigan and the equally fantastic Miriam Kaufmann who has been a friend of ours for many years and has a beautiful voice.
"Iain Archer and Declan O'Rourke will be sharing acoustic guitar duties and we're delighted to be touring with them both."
The boy Lightbody has also told BBC Northern Ireland that himself and Snow Patrol bandmate Nathan Connolly are both planning solo projects.
“I know Nathan wants to make an album and I’m going to go off and do something on my own in January,” Gary tells the Across The Line crew.
Asked what he has up his sleeve, Nathan says: “It’ll be melodic and tuneful, but we’ll see what happens when I finally get round to doing it!”
