Snow Patrol injury puts plans on hiatus
First it was Gary Lightbody’s throat and now it’s Paul Wilson’s arm!
Yep, Snow Patrol have been forced to cancel six French and German gigs as a result of the bassist “wrecking his left arm and shoulder.”
Continues Gary Lightbody: “His injury is serious and if not dealt with now could land him in very dangerous territory in the future. The trooper he is he didn’t want to cancel anything, but he’s been advised by doctors to take four weeks off.”
Gary ends the medical bulletin by promising that, “We’ll be fit and healthy for the UK and Ireland tour in November and December, so panic not if ye be panicking!”
The affected cities are Caan, Paris, Nantes, Cedex, Blelefeld and Ludwigshafen.
Needless to say, Hot Press wishes young Paul a speedy recovery.
