Snoop Dogg launches weed company 'Leafs By Snoop'

Beats by Dre have earned the good Doctor a small fortune over the past few years; now, one of his closest pals is looking to reach new heights with his own venture.
Leafs By Snoop is the new cannabis brand from Snoop Dogg, which promises to sell "the finest quality cannabis one could imagine", according to a press release. And, to be fair, Snoop knows one or two things about good weed.
He acknowledges as much himself, saying: ""Since I’ve been at the forefront of this movement for over 20 years now, I’m a master of marijuana." He adds that the new venture is aiming to be the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world.
Waxing lyrical on the joys of the doobie, Snoop says, "Wherever my musical journey has taken me around the world, it’s beautiful to see how chronic leafs are a common source of peace, love and soul that connects us all."
The company is based in the state of Colorado, which legalised marijuana in 2012, though the fact that Snoop is not resident there precludes him from owning the company himself.
