Sky Arts bursary up for grabs
Sky are offering young Irish artists the change to apply for the Futures Fund.
Attention all up-and-coming creative-types: £30,000 worth of funding could be coming your way. Sky Arts Ignition – in association with IdeasTap – are have created the Futures Fund, which will provide five artists (be they involved in music, dance, film, literature, visual or performance art) with the financial means to fully concentrate on their art for year. Entries are open to those between the ages of 18 and 30 in the UK and Ireland. The first round of applications will close on September 19, after which two artists will be selected. A further round will begin in the new year, offering three more bursaries.
