Skanger to launch new single with Upstairs at Whelan's show next week

Skanger have announced that they will release a new single 'Another Day' on September 26.

To celebrate the release of the single, they will also be performing Upstairs At Whelans in Dublin on the same date. Special guests Battle Skies will also be featured at this live performance. More gigs are said to be announced soon.

The single will be featured on Skanger's forthcoming album Love & Violence, which the band began releasing singles from in 2023.

‘Another Day’ raises the fact that the whole world seems to have an opinion on everything, be it from politics to whatever the latest fad is.. and how an endless train of idiots feel the need to ram their opinions into our faces," said lead vocalist and guitarist Mark Healy. "Maybe there might be a better way to communicate as a society and get some clarity with our thoughts. It might enable us as all to gather ourselves.. and live to fight Another Day!”

A music video for the single was released earlier this week.
