Simple Kid announces show at The Grand Social
Simple Kid will perform at The Grand Social in Dublin on May 4.
Simple Kid will be coming to Dublin on May 4 to play at The Grand Social.
Simple Kid, also known as Kieran MacFeely has been making music since he emerged back in 2003 with his first solo album Simple Kid 1. This Irish-born musical artist has been making music for years with the goal of making it into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
He was “the next big thing” with a UK Top 40 hit as well as appearances on Later With Jools’, Glastonbury Slots and Prestigious Touring.
Before he was Simple Kid, MacFeely was a member of The Young Offenders, which was a band that was composed of him and his friends from Cork. However this was a short-lived endeavour.
Following his first album, in 2008 Simple Kid released Simple Kid 2. The following album was not as successful and Simple Kid turned back to being Kieran MacFeely, taking a break from music to get a job and take care of his children.
However he could not stay away from the music scene. Back in 2018 MacFeely started to record music in his home once again. He did not tell anyone, including his family. From this, he was able to record 13 new songs and create Simple Kid 3: Health & Safety in 2022 by posting it on Youtube.
MacFeely has since reclaimed his name of Simple Kid and has decided to start playing live once again. Tickets for his show at The Grand Social will go on sale on Friday, February 2 and will start at €25.00 subject to fees.
You can get your tickets from www.singularartists.ie or at Ticketmaster.ie.
