Shark School, Theatre, Pastiche and thanks mom play as part of 2fm Sessions From Oblivion

Twelve cracking Irish acts playing over three days in two cities is the deal as RTÉ 2fm launches into 2026 with the Beta Da Silva-hosted Sessions From Oblivion.
First up on January 7 and 8 are two gigs in Whelan's which are part of the legendary venue's Ones To Watch festival.
The opening night features Kildare alt poppers thanks mom, the metally Vera, Belfast’s Afro-influenced King Sequence and Laganside rocker Becky McNeice.
Next up are Dublin electro poppers Essiray and Pastiche (above) who are joined by smooth rapper Fortune Igiebor and sometime Tebi Rex member Filmore.

The final Sessions From Oblivion salvo takes place on January 21 in the Róisín Dubh, Galway with local heroes Aimee Carty and Shark School joined by Limerick’s hottest act in years, Theatre, and punky types Adore who have roots in Galway, Dublin and Donegal.
