Rogen and Eric Kripke have reportedly been working together to create a new superhero TV series
The popular comic book series, The Boys, could soon be making its way to the small screen for a gripping action-packed television program.
According to the prominent Hollywood news source, IGN, comedy icon Seth Rogen and producer Eric Kripke are working on a TV adaption of the superhero comic.
Created by Garth Ennis, The Boys is set in a world where superheroes exist. They are enamoured with their celebrity status, and frequently take advantage of the powers that they possess. Naturally, this results in significant corruption, which frequently puts the ordinary population in grave danger.
The central plot of The Boys focuses on the CIA's tedious mission to keep the superheroes in line.
The reports of the creation of a possible TV adaption have elicited a large amount of curiosity, interest and excitement amongst many fans of The Boys comic book series. With both Rogen and Kripke as creators, the series could go in a number of different directions. It could either be action-packed and dark, funny, or both.
