Sebastian Schub announces headline show at Academy 2

Sebastian Schub has announced a headline show at Dublin's Academy 2 on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

The announcement follows his sold-out show Upstairs at Whelan's earlier this month.

Originally from Germany, the London-based singer-songwriter has released four singles to date, beginning with 2020's 'Paradise.'

Known for blending American blues with Irish folk in his music, Schub told RTÉ he "learned a lot of (his) craft" busking in Dublin's Grafton Street.

He has described his art as "a little bit like if Jeff Buckley and Hozier had a long-limbed slightly German cousin."

His 2024 track 'Sing Like Madonna' has amassed over 17 million streams on Spotify.
