'Salute To Eugene' Whelan's show set for this Tuesday
The likes of The Lost Brothers and Julie Feeney will pay musical tribute to late journalist Eugene Moloney.
On Tuesday, Whelan's plays host to a tribute concert for Eugene Moloney. Two years ago, Moloney was killed from a single blow to the head in an unprovoked attack on Camden Street. Moloney, who was working for the Irish Daily Mail at the time, had been a music journalist for Independent Newspapers and was a huge music fan.
To mark the second anniversary of his tragic passing, The Lost Brothers, Julie Feeney, Andy Irvine, Liam O Maonlai, Joe & Steve Wall, Saramai Leech and Pete Cummins will celebrate his life by putting on a fantastic gig.
Expect special guests to be joining that already terrific bill. You can watch them all in action from 8pm on Tuesday, June 24. Tickets are priced at €15 and are available from WAV Tickets.
