Rory Fleck-Byrne to star in big budget horror flick

Getting its world premiere in London tomorrow night (Tuesday April 1), The Quiet Ones is the latest release from a rejuvenated Hammer Films. Starring Mad Men's Jared Harris and Sam Claflin of Hunger Games: Catching Fire, our own Rory Fleck-Byrne is also set to feature.

A young actor from Kilkenny, along with starring in last month's successful run of The Vortex at The Gate, he's also appeared in Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters, so you could say he has a taste for this kind of big screen feature.

The Quiet Ones follows a group of PhD students who are recruited by a professor to create a poltergeist. Needless to say, it all goes smoothly.

You can catch it in Irish cinemas from Friday April 11.
