Ron Sexsmith announces Irish dates
Ron Sexsmith arrives in Ireland next month for an eight-date Irish tour
Fresh from topping the BBC Radio 2 airplay chart, Ron Sexsmith brings his eight-piece band to Ireland for dates at the Nerve Centre, Derry (September 2); Spirit Store, Dundalk (3 & 4); Empire Music Hall, Belfast (5); An Cruiscin Lan, Cork (7); Cuba, Galway (8); Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick (9) and The Village, Dublin (10).
Almost an honorary Irishman at this stage, the Canadian's fan club includes Chris Martin, Elvis Costello and Paul McCartney, who says he can open for him any time he likes.
As for his own support acts, fellow Canuck Sarah Slean opens for Ron on all Irish dates, with special local guest Rosey joining The Village festivities on September 10.
Tickets are on sale now from the usual outlets.
