Roisin Murphy reveals bizarre album cover
And the winner of the 2007 Bizarre Album Cover of the Year Award goes to…Roisin Murphy!
Yup, the Arklow songstress has pulled out all the visual stops for her new Overpowered collection, which is out on October 12 and includes input from Groove Armada’s Andy Cato, Bugz In The Attic’s Seiji, Jimmy Douglass, Ill Factor, Parrot & Dean and Richard X.
Described as “the place where pop meets dance”, it features ‘You Know Me Better’, ‘Checkin’ On Me’, ‘Let Me Know’, ‘Movie Star’, ‘Primitive’, ‘Footprints’, ‘Dear Miami’, ‘Cry Baby’, ‘Tell Everybody’, ‘Scarlet Ribbons’ and the title-track.
You can catch Ms. Murphy live on September 7 when she plays the Cois Fharriage in Kilkee.
