Rodrigo y Gabriela announce Irish tour
With a brand-spanking debut album under their belt, Rodrigo y Gabriela will play a series of shows around the country
Mexico City’s finest expats Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero take their explosive live shows around the country next month.
With a melting pot that combines high doses of Latin, jazz and flamenco with metal undertones, Rodrigo y Gabriela spent the summer playing international festivals like WOMAD and Glastonbury, and supported Damien Rice on his UK dates earlier this year.
Having just released their debut album Re-Foc, the Dublin-based duo will be playing the following dates in November:
Sun 23: Nerve Centre, Derry
Tues 25: Old St Marys Church, Clonmel
Wed 26: The Lodge, Mallow
Thurs 27: Dolans, Limerick
Fri 28: Spirit Store, Dundalk
Sat 29: St Nicholas Church, Galway
The tour will culminate in two consecutive hometown shows on December 1 and 2 at the Christchurch Cathedral.
Tickets are priced at €25 and are on sale now from Ticketmaster and venue box offices.
