Rihanna Announces 'Unfiltered' Documentary
Rihanna will be the latest celebrity to have a documentary centered around her life
How much do we really know about our favorite celebrities? Rihanna aims to give her fans a more 'unfiltered' view into her world with an upcoming documentary about her everyday life.
Several musicians have created concert films; some films have more personal than others. While One Direction's film barely scratched the surface of the band members, Katy Perry let her fans into some of her darkest moments on tour.
Rihanna's documentary aims to be more similar to The Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter, an unscripted film with less musical content.
The documentary will be shot by Peter Berg under the Film 45 studio. Here is the full description from the Film 45 website: "Follow this true international superstar as she navigates life as an artist, businesswoman, and humanitarian, while contending with the inherent pressure of artistic freedom. Peter Berg's Rihanna is an unfiltered look into Rihanna's life and how she's ascended to become a global icon, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world's most well-known pop artists."
There is currently no known release date.
