RECORD STORE DAY: Nighthawks release OXFAM CD
The official launch takes place this Saturday in Dublin's Parliament Street.
Those lovely Nighthawks people have put together a five-track EP, which goes on sale on April 17 from the OXFAM shop on Parliament Street to celebrate Record Store Day.
The line-up is Shane Browne ‘The Celtic Tiger Song’, Totally Wired ‘Essential Fashion Item (Gay Best Friend)’, Trevor Browne ‘The Break-Up Song’, Colm Keegan ‘The Crackle’ and ‘The Road To Termonfeckin’ read by Kevin McGahern.
All five of the aforementioned will be performing in the Dublin 2 store from 2pm onwards.
More money will be raised for OXFAM on April 24 when Enda Muldoon, Totally Wired, Kevin McGahern, Shane Browne, Trevor Browne, Jim Elliott and Tomie James gig in the Cobalt Café on North Great Georges Street. Tickets are €10, which includes a free copy of the EP.
