Randy Newman returns to Dublin

Randy Newman will play Vicar Street on November 3 as he promotes his first album of new recordings in nine years, Harps and Angels.

In the years since his tenth studio release, 1999's Bad Love, Newman has been focusing on touring and writing film scores; he's worked on Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Seabiscuit and Pleasantville, among others.

Featured on Harps and Angels is the single 'A Few Words in Defense of Our Country' which was named the number 2 song of 2007 by Billboard magazine.

Tickets for this show are €59.80 and are on sale September 1.
